Staying for work near Tarnos and Bayonne

On assignment for a few weeks at the Tarnos port area, at Safran Helicopter Engines, at Bayonne hospital or on a project along the coast? The studio, in the village of Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx, is a quiet base about a quarter of an hour from the main business sites of southern Landes and Bayonne.

Travel times from the studio

Driving times without traffic, calculated with OpenStreetMap:

• Tarnos (town hall): 11 km, 13 minutes;
• Tarnos port area (Safran Helicopter Engines site): 13 km, 17 minutes;
• Bayonne hospital (Centre hospitalier de la Côte Basque, Saint-Léon site): 13 km, 19 minutes;
• Bayonne old town: 13 km, 20 minutes;
• Bayonne train station: 11 km, 18 minutes;
• Biarritz airport: 18 km, 29 minutes.

A63 motorway: exit 7 (Ondres) is about ten minutes away, handy for Dax, Hossegor or the Basque Country. French motorways are tolled.

Without a car: Txik Txak bus line 24 leaves from the Place Jean Rameau stop, 500 m from the studio, goes through Tarnos and reaches Bayonne train station in about 25 minutes, Monday to Saturday (no buses on Sundays). Full details in our getting here guide.

A studio suited to stays of several weeks

• kitchenette and fridge, so you can cook rather than eat out every night;
• bed linen and towels provided;
• free parking in front of the studio, useful with a company car or van;

The village centre is a 7-minute walk away: shops, a Super U supermarket and the Saturday morning market for the weekly shop.
